I live in a one room apartment, just me and my laptop. I do not earn that much at my job and this place fits best for my needs. I have a huge couch that can be shared by two persons, a big library where I keep all my books and a nice kitchen. Nevertheless, to be honest with you, sometimes, I get a bit lonely and that's why I decided to buy myself something really cool: a Tv Tuner Laptop. At least, I can watch some television before I go to sleep. Of course, I didn't know that much about it and that's why I share this story with you, so you can know more about it. 

The first problem that I ran into was this one: for a Tv Tuner Laptop, you need a free PCI slot, and I didn't know if there were any available slots inside of my laptop. I downloaded an application which scans the hardware of my computer and the result was really bad: “Your laptop doesn't have any free slots.” I thought that this is it, and I don't have any options left, but then it hit me: I can buy an external Tv Tuner Laptop that connects through USB. I find this solution even more convenient because now the installation of the tuner on the motherboard is only a bad dream. I have to admit that I am not a computer expert, just an intermediate user.

Afterwards, I went to the nearest computer shop. Inside of it, I have found a lot of options, and the prices were for everyone. I didn't want to buy the cheapest external Tv Tuner Laptop, and that's why I choose something in between. The wrapping was really small, and it even comes with a CD with drivers and instructions. The guy from the shop told me that in 5 minutes, I will be watching television on my laptop. He was right and everything worked fine, but I have a new problem: the application that came with the card is giving me an error that sounds like “The card doesn't receive any signal”. I read all the instruction again, and then I realized that I forgot something really important and nobody told me about this: if you want to use a Tv tuner card on your laptop you need to have also a cable television that connects to it. The whole idea of buying a Tv Tuner Laptop was to get rid of doing a new contract with the cable company because it requires too much money and time.

 I can say that I get fooled, but this is not true. I read something online about Tv tuner cards, but I didn't pay too much attention. I didn't want to spend much with this idea that I had, and now I will be spent even more than I wanted. I hope that my story will be a lesson for you if you're thinking about doing the something as me. Although an external Tv Tuner Laptop doesn't cost that much, at the end of the day I can say to you that it does.

Technology is innovation of something new in order to create a solution for a certain problem or dilemma. We normally relate technology to gadgets, food, medicine, industry, human life, practicality and everything under the sun that has been improved from the last century and still improving. As humans, we always crave for more and we want more functionality to suit our daily living. For example for gadgets, we mobilized our phones so that we can take them anywhere and we can use them anytime. We created the computer to help us do things faster and efficiently, after its creation, we tend to get bored with a bigger and static one so we created the laptop and the notebook to make it portable, we invented the air conditioner to make the air suit a better temperature and the heater to do the other way around, we created the video games to entertain us during the time of boredom but as humans, we created PSP to make it portable and similar to reality. And we created tv tuner laptop so that we can watch television and do our work as well. These are only a few of the technology that we have for gadgets for the last century humans dare to do even better things at greater heights. The tv tuner laptop is just one of those which has the functionality of the television and laptop at the same time. Technology on gadgets is created every now and then to make our life easier. To make us more connected with others and make us knowledgeable. There is a multitude of things to do invent and to improve by technology. The human raise always wanted to extend the limits and defy change. People will never stop creating and asking for better, bigger projects that will never seize to amaze. Even things that are only seen in the futuristic books and sources are now made into reality by brilliant people who wanted to improve everything. The human being contentment is not seen in the near future. It continues to grow and expand as the years pass. The revolution of change is as inevitable as the eye can see. The horizon of technology lies too much far for us to foresee the end. Human will always be a product of this changing world, and as long the word technology exist, we will never stop using and modifying it.
